Westbahnhof train station

Westbahnhof is only a few minutes walk from Boutique Hotel Stadthalle. Just leave the station through the left-hand exit and pass the parking lot, where you will reach Felberstrasse. Take a left on Felberstrasse and continue on. The second street on the right is Hackengasse, where you can find our hotel.

Hauptbahnhof station

From Hauptbahnhof station, take the tram line 18 in the direction of Urban-Loritz-Platz/Burggasse -Stadthalle, and exit at Westbahnhof station. From there you can easily walk to Hotel Stadthalle (please find directions from Westbahnhof to Hotel Stadthalle above).

Take the train – Get the Green Bonus

Arrived by underground at Westbahnhof station? Please take the exit at Felberstrasse. Walk past the parking garage and follow Felberstrasse to your left. The second street on your right is Hackengasse, where you will find our hotel.

By car

From A1 Westautobahn highway

Exit towards Wien Zentrum. After about 2 km, when Schönbrunn Palace is exactly to your right, turn left onto Schlossallee. At the end of Schlossallee, change into the rightmost lane passing under the railway bridge, then turn right onto Felberstrasse. Follow Felberstrasse for about 3 minutes; you will easily spot the sign for Boutique Hotel Stadthalle. Turn left onto Beingasse before you reach the hotel sign and follow the road until you reach Märzstrasse (second street). Turn right and drive one block to Hackengasse, where Boutique Hotel Stadthalle will be to your left.

In addition, we have put up plenty of signs between the highway and Boutique Hotel Stadthalle, so finding your way should be easy.

From A2 Südautobahn highway

Exit Wien Zentrum – Triester Strasse and keep following Triester Strasse down Wienerberg hill until you get to the sign Gürtel West.

Important: make sure you choose the leftmost lane heading towards Linz, then drive under the bridge (at Matzleinsdorfer Platz) and stay on the Gürtel beltway past Westbahnhof station until you reach Urban-Loritz-Platz (the entire square in front of the city library is covered with tarpaulin). Turn left, watching out for cyclists and trams. Go straight ahead across the Gürtel beltway and onto Hütteldorfer Strasse.

Hackengasse is the third street on the left, where you will be welcomed at Boutique Hotel Stadthalle.

By plane

As soon as you touch the ground, the centrally located Boutique Hotel Stadthalle is quick and easy to reach, so your holiday in Vienna can start right away.

From Vienna Schwechat Airport

In front of the arrivals hall, Vienna Airport Lines shuttle buses depart for Vienna Westbahnhof station every 30 minutes. The fare is €8,- per person, including three pieces of luggage. Please check the Vienna Airport Lines timetable for more details.

At Vienna Schwechat airport, you can also catch the CAT (City Airport Train). Get off at Wien Mitte, then take the subway line U3 towards Ottakring until Schweglerstrasse station.

The fare for the CAT (City Airport Train) is €11,- one way, and is the quickest connection from the airport to the city.

Of course, you can also get a taxi. A one way fare is €42.00 (for up to three people). We are happy to assist you with taxi bookings to get you a fixed rate. Please contact our reception.

By Bicycle

Klosterneuburg cycle track

Biking to Vienna is a very rewarding journey. The Danube bike path from Passau (Germany) to Vienna provides easy cycling fun for the whole family. When you arrive in our bicycle-friendly Boutique Hotel Stadthalle, we will be happy to store your bike free of charge.
From Klosterneuburg, take the bike path to Nussdorf. Then head along the Donaukanal (Danube canal) towards the Friedensbrücke bridge. Once on the bridge, follow the signs towards the Gürtel beltway and take the tree-lined bike path towards Urban-Loritz-Platz, where you will turn right onto Hütteldorfer Strasse. Hackengasse is the third street on the left. After a few hundred meters further, you will find yourself directly in front of Boutique Hotel Stadthalle. Welcome!
